🤖 Google's Bard Leaps Forward with Gemini Upgrade

Google has upgraded its AI chatbot Bard with Gemini, its latest AI model, enhancing Bard's reasoning, understanding, and planning capabilities. Gemini, available in Ultra, Pro, and Nano versions, allows Bard to operate on various devices, from mobile to data centers. The initial rollout will feature Gemini Pro, with a more advanced version, Bard Advanced, using Gemini Ultra, coming next year. Bard Advanced will handle multiple data types, including text, images, audio, and code. The upgrade aims to make Bard a more effective AI collaborator, though it's acknowledged that Bard is still evolving. Click the link below to get a closer look at Gemini 👇️

🖼️ Meta Unveils 'Imagine': AI-Driven Image Creation Tool

Meta has launched Imagine with Meta, a standalone generative AI web tool for creating images from text descriptions, similar to DALL-E, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion. Powered by Meta's Emu image generation model, it's currently free in the U.S., generating four images per prompt. Despite past issues with racially biased AI tools, Meta plans to add invisible watermarks to images for transparency and traceability. These watermarks will be resilient to common image manipulations. The move reflects growing pressure on tech companies to ensure transparency in AI-generated content, aligning with global regulatory trends and ethical standards.

👨‍💻 Microsoft and JetBrains Amplify AI Battle in Development Tools

Microsoft's Copilot, developed by GitHub and OpenAI, is integrating OpenAI's latest models and a new code interpreter, signifying a strategic shift in AI towards developer and engineering tools. This upgrade will enhance Copilot's ability to understand and respond to queries. Meanwhile, JetBrains, the Prague-based company behind Kotlin, has released JetBrains AI Assistant, a Copilot competitor. This Assistant will integrate with JetBrains' development environments and be powered by LLMs from OpenAI, Google, and JetBrains itself. This development signifies growing competition in AI tools for developers, with JetBrains positioned as a neutral AI assistant provider, challenging U.S.-based giants like Microsoft and Google.

Refik Anadol: Combining AI & Art

AI-Powered Summarization for Efficient Information Processing

AI can be effectively utilized to summarize long articles, reports, or documents, providing concise overviews of extensive content.

How It Works:

  1. Input Lengthy Content: Provide the AI with a long article, report, or document.

  2. Specify Summary Length: Indicate the desired length or key points for the summary.

Why Use It?

  • Time-Saving: Quickly grasp the essence of lengthy documents without reading through all the details.

  • Enhanced Comprehension: Gain a clearer understanding of complex or dense material.

Prompt Example:

'ChatGPT, summarize this article [insert article text or link] focusing on the main points and conclusions, and keep it under [specify word count or length].'"
